A constrained interface for giving compliments. You type one in—it gets delivered to a stranger. No replies. No metrics. Just the act of saying something kind into the void.

Overview
The Compliment Terminal explores what happens when we remove all social feedback from an act of kindness. By eliminating replies, likes, and any form of reciprocity, we isolate the pure intention behind giving a compliment.
Methodology
Participants type compliments into a minimal interface. Messages are delivered anonymously to random users. No confirmation, no response mechanism, no tracking of whether it was read.
Initial Findings
Early observations show that removing feedback loops actually increases sincerity. When there's no possibility of validation, people write differently—more honest, less performative.
